• Brazil is part of the XXI Winter Olympics

It is not a joke. Brazil is part of the XXI Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Historically they have never won any medals in the competition. So far, a total lack of medals is a fact for the Brazilian team.

Brazil first took part in the Winter Olympics in 1992.

The delegation has five athletes in Vancouver 2010: Isabel Clark, Jaqueline Mourão, Jhonathan Longhi, Leandro Ribela and Maya Harrisson. Mourão and Ribela are competing in cross-country skiing, while Longhi and Harrisson are competing in alpine skiing and Isabel Clark is competing in ladies’ snowboard cross.
